Privacy Policy
What ends up with us?
- Your uploads. Every photo is re-encoded into a standard format on arrival, which drops hidden extras such as camera model or GPS position, and the original is thrown away.
- The clip rendered from them.
- A session cookie with a random token, so this browser can find its drafts, clips and credits for 30 days. Names and emails are never required.
- From Stripe: whether a payment worked, how much, in which currency, and Stripe’s reference numbers. Never the card itself.
- Small product events like “photo uploaded” or “clip downloaded”, linked to the anonymous session and free of photos, clip addresses and emails.
- Where your visit came from: campaign tags on the first link you followed (utm_source and similar) and the referring site, minus its query string. A first-party cookie holds this for 30 days, it is attached to your session when a clip starts, and Stripe receives it with the checkout.
- Google Analytics measurements: pages seen, device and browser, an approximate place inferred from the IP address, plus the events above.
- Server logs and error codes that keep things running and safe.
- Your email and message, if you contact support.
What is it used for?
- Rendering your clip, storing it briefly and handing it to you.
- Charging you, keeping the credit balance right, and refunding credits when a render breaks.
- Spotting abuse, applying the Acceptable Use Policy and protecting the site.
- Seeing, only in aggregate, which steps confuse people so we can fix them.
Your data is not for sale. Your photos and clips are never used in advertising or for training models.
Which outside companies see my photos?
Kie, our AI provider, receives your photos along with the fixed scene instructions. It keeps copies on its own file storage and runs two model families: Google’s Nano Banana Pro draws the costume stills, ByteDance’s Seedance animates the shots. Processing may happen abroad, and each of these companies follows its own terms and retention periods, outside our control. The deletion times listed below apply to storage we run.
Stripe processes card payments according to its privacy notice. Google Analytics measures traffic for us under Google’s terms, keyed only to a random clip number. Companies that host our pages, database and private files act on our instructions.
How long is anything kept?
- Photos you upload: purged within a day of their render ending, whether it succeeded, broke or was stopped.
- Drafts never started and orphaned uploads: deleted no more than 24 hours after creation.
- Finished clips: deleted one week after they become ready.
- Session and referral cookies: lapse after 30 days.
- Analytics cookies: up to two years in your browser, with Google keeping our reports for at most 14 months.
- Payment and credit ledgers: retained for as long as bookkeeping, tax rules, fraud checks or legal duties demand.
Can someone else open my clip?
Only if you let them. The site never lists or displays uploads or renders, and a clip’s page answers only to the session that owns it, so pasting its address somewhere achieves nothing. Share the downloaded file, or the save link we offer, and only with people you trust.
What control do I have?
- Not uploading means no session cookie; the generator cannot work without one.
- Browser privacy settings, content blockers or Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout stop Google Analytics, and the generator carries on fine.
- Clearing cookies is always allowed, though older drafts and clips then stop opening here.
- You may ask which personal data we hold, or ask for faster deletion. Because there are no accounts, the clip’s page address helps us locate it.
What about minors?
This site is for adults. Photos of anyone below 18 are refused under our rules.
How is it secured, and will this change?
Uploads and renders live in private storage and are served to their owning session alone. Since no setup is perfect, collecting little and deleting early is our main safeguard. Any revision to this policy updates the date above.
